Kragen and Beatrice got married on Saturday, June 7, 2003 in Beatrice's hometown Bolinas, California. We have put together this page to celebrate this wondrous occasion.

We had a wonderful ceremony officiated by Beatrice's Godfather, Tom Scott.
All four of our parents spoke about the meaning of love and marriage. This was
followed by three reading's by family members: Kragen's stepmother, Paula, read
a piece about love and peace from Gandhi, Beatrice's brother, Walter, read "Risk
Taking is Free"
by Donald
Steinberg and Kragen's sister, Serafina, read "The
Invitation" by Oriah Mountain Dreamer. Finaly we said our vows (small
picture) (largepicture) (.pdf)
to each other
and lit a Unity Candle. Ka Ping-Yee handwrote them in calligraphy for us, and
we have our own ketubah hung in our living room. Thank you Ping. After the ceremony
was finished Art Rogers took a large
group photograph. Finally we had our reception in the backyard and celebrated
the beginning of our marriage with loved ones.
Some people found our travel recommendations page helpful, so we kept it online (but check all this info as this was written way back in 2003!)
